Albion Ferry , July 31 2009 was the last day the Albion ferry across the Fraser River between Maple Ridge and Fort Langley . The ferry has been crossing the river since since June of 1957 and it was part of the community. Now when new Golden Ears Bridge is open and Albion Ferry will be remembered for all the good moments not for the “ there is 6-sailing wait for the Albion Ferry” on the tragic radio.
